Who we are.

Applied Psychologies is an educational psychology service with a strong reputation for building positive relationships with schools and educational settings to meet the needs of children and young people, their families and teaching staff. Established in 2012, we became employee owned in 2022. Our vision is one of a resilient service that gives voice to everyone in the team and a say in our future.

Our team is 30 strong and made up of educational psychologists (EPs), trainee and assistant EPs, advisory teacher for communication and interaction, speech and language, occupational and SEMH therapists and our business support team.

What we do.

We currently offer a blend of face to face and online support to schools across the North of England. When schools and educational settings commission us to work with them, they enter a working relationship with a service which is committed to working preventatively with members of the school community to bring about positive outcomes. The team are allocated as named professionals for the academic year working directly with schools to understand the strengths, needs and aspirations of the setting, which helps us to provide support where it is needed the most.
