About the event
We round off this years Big Feelings. Big Behaviours. series with Dr Frances Willis' third session focusing on emotional regulation.
Using her experience across a number of year and schools, this session seeks to support adults working with children to understand how emotional regulation links to learning and engagement in schools. Key topics include:
• Why is emotional regulation so challenging in schools?
• How does emotional regulation relate to learning and engagement?
• How can we respond to children when they are dysregulated?
• What can co-regulation look like and how can children move towards more independent regulation?
